This is the First race in the Endurance Events Autumn Series which takes place in the beautiful and historic grounds of Margam Park, Neath Port Talbot.
The course consists of two 5km loops around the grounds of Margam park. The terrain is undulating on well maintained gravel paths and some tarmac sections. It is suitable for both experienced athletes looking for a fast time of the distance and novices runners looking for the next challenge. at its highest points you will be treated to some spectacular view over the English Channel.
There will be medals for each finisher and trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in male and female category. For the athletes who have competed in all 3 events will have the chance of winning the Endurance Events 10km Series. The lowest accumulated time from the 3 races in the male and female categories will receive an Impulse Apparel running leggings.

1. Go to Junction 38 of the M4, take the exit at the roundabout onto the A48 towards Pyle.
2. Continue along the A48 passing the main Margam Park entrance.
3. After 1.5 miles take a left where the event will be sign posted and follow the road for 0.3 miles where you will reach your destination.

What to expect:
9.00 am - Registration opens (registration will be in the building next to the car park).
10.30 am - Registration closes.
10.45 am - Race briefing (briefing will take place at the start line).
11.00 am - Race start
12.45 pm - Presentation
Registration will take place in the building adjacent to the car park. There you will receive a goody bag and your race pack. Inside your race pack will be your number which you will wear on the front of your running vest or t-shirt for identification purposes during the race. There will also be a timing chip that must be worn around the ankle to get the best possible connection when running over the timing mats. Please note at the end of your race it is your responsibility to make sure that your timing chip is handed back to a marshal. Failure to do so will result in a substantial charge form the chip timing company as this technology is expensive to replace.
